TS Fay and Baby Andrew

If you live in Florida, then you know what the last week has been like! For those of you with children, then you REALLY know how hard it's been! Every chance we got, we took Brayden outside to ride his bike and play. And thank goodness, because this storm took it's time crossing Florida, didn't it? By Friday, when Fay was officially here, a little cabin fever started to set it. Thank goodness I had a photo session scheduled. And I was even more thankful it was an indoor session, because we didn't have to reschedule!

When I got there, I was greeted by the cutest boxer I've ever seen! Her name is Mia and she was so excited to have a visitor! She also loves her new baby brother, Andrew. What a cutie! In fact, he reminded me so much of Brayden when he was a baby! Is it just me, or do these two look alike???

Brayden is on the left. (Don't judge me. It's not a great picture at all... paper photo scanned in years ago and then cropped.) Andrew is on the right. Don't they resemble each other? Crazy!

We had the best session. I walked into their house and immediately found so many cool props and settings. And Mia was one of the best ones. She was so good with the baby and really enjoyed having her picture taken. Future doggie model???

One of the great props on display in their home. Perfect little baby platter!

This is where the platter shown above normally sits. Instead, why not put a baby there! So cute, that Andrew!

This one also reminded me of Brayden, but I decided not to post another picture. This shoot was all about Andrew and Mia, after all!

And there they are! Isn't she adorable?!?

And she just loves him so much...

How sweet are they?

Another fabulous prop! You'll see the full shot of this chair a couple pics down. Andrew was being so good just sitting there. And he didn't even tinkle on my blanket!

He loves his Daddy!

And love his Mommy too!

And I love those little piggies!!!

They are such a sweet family

Don't you just adore this one? She was sitting at their feet and gave me this look, like "I so didn't sign up for this kid." But we know better...

Elizabeth & Graham ~ Thanks so much for asking me to photograph your adorable family! I'll always remember the little "Hurricane Party" we had while TS Fay was here. :)

Although the peanut butter and jelly sandwich was ahead in the beginning, it looks like Brayden came out on top! How cute is that face??? :)

Love this!

Although I don't watch a whole lot of television, I've caught this commercial several times. It's just so fun and the music is great. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dancing!

Girls just wanna have fun!

I love it when I get to photograph little girls! It's probably because I have a boy and I don't get to buy dresses and bows. A couple weeks ago I got to photograph FOUR girls! The older girls were in town visiting their cousins--the younger two who I know from church. When Lisa emailed me and asked me to photograph them, I was so excited. I just love the expressions her little girls make and knew we'd have a blast.

I just LOVE the look she's giving!

Love this one too!

Another great expression!

Precious little girl!!!

Kennedy

A couple of weeks ago, I met Kennedy and her sweet family at Shalom Park in Ocala. I had never been there before, but I'm sure I'll go again! Besides the AWFUL heat, it was beautiful. Poor Kennedy was so tired and hot, but she managed to pose for some cute shots. We had fun looking at flowers and fish, but were ALL ready to get into our cars to that precious AC.

Such a cutie-pa-tootie!

Looking for fishies.

I love this one!

If we'd given her the chance, she would have jumped right in that water with those fish!
A moment with Daddy.

My Brady Bug

My parents rented my friend's condo in Vilano Beach for a week and Brayden and I spent some time there too. I absolutely love the beach. I grew up vacationing in St. Augustine and it's always been a special place to me. So whenever we have the opportunity to go, I jump on it. During the time they were there, Brayden and I went twice. Shawn was stuck working, so he wasn't able to join us. But, you know me, I have plenty of pictures to document our time there!

We visited a number of places while we were there... downtown, Marineland, Anastasia Island, the lighthouse... I remember loving Matanzas Inlet as a child and teenager. My family and I would go there with a casting net and try to catch all sorts of little sea creatures. Although some times were more successful than others, I love the memories from there and I can still taste the salt water in my mouth from casting the net. So I thought it would be nice to go there one evening and watch the sunset. So my mom went to the local farmer's market for shrimp. She boiled them and we took them with us to the inlet. While we were there, a heron flew in and landed in the water. Brayden, facinated with all animals, squatted down to see what this bird would do next. I just love this shot...

I have sooo many more images to share, but I've got to get this darn computer fixed. Stay tuned for more pictures from our little vacation!
