My Dad's Birthday

The whole fam went out to my parent's house (we now refer to it as the farm because that's what Brayden calls it) to celebrate my dad's birthday. My mom made her lasagna (which, by the way, is the same recipe I use but mine NEVER tastes the same as hers) and a yummy lemon meringue pie (I don't even try to copy that). NOTE: for those of you who don't know me well, I can't cook. I have a few dishes I can make, but something always goes wrong. My in-laws crack on me about knowing how to only make cereal and macaroni & cheese, but let's get real--can you REALLY go wrong with either of those? Okay, so maybe if the cereal is stale or the macaroni isn't cooked long enough. But honestly, that never happens. Why not just stick to what works? Easy. Fast. Cheap. Any complaints, just take me out to eat!

Okay... so I totally got off the subject. Anyway, we went out to the farm for my dad's birthday. He was saying how he didn't have a recent picture of my brother, so I took some of my brother, Ian, to give to my dad as a gift (which he loved!). Being that we were going to be out there for a little bit, I HAD to bring my camera to document all the fun things that can happen on the farm! Here are some of them...

1. Wash dishes with Grandma

2. Eat jellybeans

3. Find something important to work on at Pa's worktable

4. Ask Grandma to spin you on Pa's chair

5. Walk around in Grandma's wellies while staring at the ceiling

6. Have fun with Pa, your best bud!

Hi Shandon! I saw you on Dane Sanders talk the other night :) It's fun to see other photographers in Gainesville. We should all get together sometime!

Shandon, those pictures of Brayden are so cute. I love his hair! Looks like your dad had a nice birthday! BTW, they have the exact same smile :)
